If you have ever been along to a Whole Self Yoga Retreat then you will know that they are a transformative and unforgettable experience.

These retreats are a space to let go of the stresses of real life and to reconnect with yourself. Whole Self Yoga hosts several different retreats throughout the year, and next year I will be offering a brand new yoga retreat experience in Kenya!

Kenya Safari Retreat

From February 25th until March 4th 2022, you can join me in Kenya for this one of a kind adventure.

The retreat will be hosted at the Lewa Wilderness Lodge. During this week-long retreat, we will combine safari explorations with daily yoga classes, wellbeing immersions, and so much more.

Why Go on a Yoga Retreat?

There are so many different wonderful reasons to go on a yoga retreat.

First of all, this is an incredible way to prioritise your own self-care. It is an opportunity to focus on your own needs and all of the various aspects of your physical and emotional health.

Throughout a yoga retreat you will be able to give your time and energy to truly taking care of your body and mind. This can help you to identify the parts of your life that you are unhappy with and motivate you to make a change.

Additionally, a yoga retreat is of course a brilliant opportunity to completely focus on progressing your own yoga practice. Whether you are a yoga teacher, a student of yoga, or completely new to yoga entirely, a retreat will help you to push into your practice.

During a retreat of this nature, you will learn new tools to assist you with your yoga practice. However, these tools can also be of great use to you in other areas of your life.

Lewa Wilderness

This incredible place is one of the original safari lodges in Kenya. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking at every turn and there is simply so much natural beauty to take in and enjoy.

The lodge itself is located within an environmental conservation area at the foothills of Mount Kenya, making it easy to witness many different wild animals in their natural habitat. Mount Kenya is the second tallest mountain in Kenya at more than 17,000 feet and it is truly a spectacular sight!

In addition to daily game drives, visitors can also enjoy a great selection of other activities during their stay, such as swimming and tennis. The most commonly spotted animals in the area are lions, cheetah, leopards, and rhino. You will also come across giraffes, ostriches, zebras, and more!
