Five Reasons Why Online Yoga Teacher Training Is A Great Choice

As the world continues to adapt to the challenges posed by the pandemic, the ways in which we learn are evolving — and this is now also true of yoga teacher training!

If you have big dreams of becoming a yoga teacher, then there’s no reason that this isn’t something you can pursue right now.

I have transitioned my yoga teacher training school to be taught 100 percent online, and I’m excited to announce that the next course will run this year from November 1st until December 16th.

Taking this step might seem like a scary one right now, but learning online could actually turn out to be the very best way for you to qualify — let me tell you why!

1.Save Money

Completing a yoga teacher training course can be expensive. Although it is possible to get a good deal on the course itself, you will have to travel to the venue every single day of your studies. This can involve paying for travel costs, booking accommodation nearby, and also to eat out or buy food on the go.

When you are studying online, then naturally you will not have any of these expenses. You will sleep in your own bed each night and cook at home as normal — and you won’t have to travel anywhere at all!

You may also find that the online course costs slightly less, and this can be because the organisers are also saving money in various ways.

2.Save Time

Similarly to my point about saving money, you will also be saving a lot of time when you choose to study online.

You will not have to travel to and from the venue each day of the course, and as soon as you’re done for the day you will immediately be able to give your time to other things.

If you are someone who has a lot going on at home, then you will be able to use the breaks during the day to catch up on these things. Whereas, if you were travelling to the course then your breaks would always be spent having an actual break!

There are of course pros and cons here, and it is great to simply give your full attention to the yoga teacher training course each day. However, it is also true and fair to say that we don’t always have control over how hectic our lives are, and sometimes we have to work to find a balance.

3.Enjoy More Flexibility

When you attend an in-person yoga teacher training, then each of your days will usually be meticulously scheduled.

Your teachers will naturally want you to learn as much as possible in the time you have together, and this is of course wonderful. When you learn online, then of course your teachers will want to give you the same incredible experience, but there is likely to be more opportunity for flexibility.

Talk to your potential teachers about this before you sign up to a course, and make sure that you feel comfortable that your needs will be met.

4.Learn Anywhere In The World

Although in theory it is possible to study your course physically anywhere in the world, this is often not actually feasible. You may have your eye on an amazing course in another continent, but be unable to travel there due to constraints on time and money.

When you choose to study your course online, then these barriers are lifted, and you can transport yourself to anywhere in the world!

This means that you can learn with the teachers of your choice in your dream destination, without ever having to actually set foot there.

5.Conquer This Year

If you have felt as though 2020 has been a major dent in your life plans, then coming out of this year with something positive could really help get you back on track.

There are so many things that it’s just still not possible to do because of the pandemic — and this may be the case for a long time ahead.

When the world does return to normal, it’s likely that yoga teacher training courses will largely revert to in-person trainings. So, if you know that learning online is going to be the best option for you, then it’s important to grab this opportunity now!

Putting yourself and your dreams first, and allowing yourself the time to do so, will help you to look back on this year with gratitude for your choices.

Before You Get Started

There are many things to consider before you embark upon your course, and some of these things are more exciting than others. However, giving your time and energy to the practicalities will help to ensure that you have a great experience.
