  1. Booking
  • The contract is between you and Julie Montagu Ltd (“JML”)
  • Your booking is not considered definite and no contract will exist between you and JML until full payment is received.
  • In order to be accepted to the Whole Self Yoga Retreat (“Retreat”) you will need to complete and return the application form.
  • We do not store payment details nor do we share customer details with any third party.
  • The Retreat dates are as stated on the application form.
  1. Payment & Fees
  • £500 deposit is due within 3 days upon confirmation of your application in order to secure the place.
  • The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the Whole Self Yoga Retreat that you have booked onto.
  • Payment is accepted via bank transfer to the following account details:

  • The prices for the Retreat are as stated in the application form and on the website ( We reserve the right to amend or increase the prices which are published or advertised prior to the time that you book the Retreat in its absolute discretion.
  • The Retreat fees includes all yoga, workshop, food and accommodation costs
  • The Retreat fees exclude travel costs, transfers, travel insurance and any other optional individual or group activity.
  1. Food & Drink
  • Beverages, alcoholic drinks, additional meals and snacks are not included in the Retreat fees and but can be purchased separately.
  1. Travel Arrangements
  • We shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel.
  1. Travel Insurance
  • We require that your travel insurance covers the activity of this Retreat as well as unexpected cancellation, illness, losses and any other risks. You should bring the policy with you in case of an emergency.
  1. Your Health
  • It is your responsibility to let the Yoga Instructor/Staff know if you have any injuries and to be mindful at all times of your own body’s capability during the retreat. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity, then you must desist immediately.
  • Please advise us of any mental or physical health conditions and dietary requirements before you book. If you have health conditions and dietary requirements that may be affected by the activities offered on the retreat we reserve the right to advise you to desist and in the interests of your wellbeing, or others, we may decline your stay at the retreat. If you do not advise us of your health conditions or dietary requirements, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and your payment is forfeit.
  • Whilst all measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, we shall not be responsible for any injuries caused by uneven terrain.
  • Women who are 12 to 28 weeks pregnant should provide a letter from their health practitioner specifying that they are fit to travel and able to engage in the activities that we provide.
  1. Cancellation by You
  • You or any member of your party, may cancel your booking at any time, provided the cancellation is made by the person submitting the registration form and is notified to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is received by us. It is your responsibility to confirm that the host has received your cancellation notice.
  • The following charges will apply in the event of cancellation:
    1. If you cancel 90 calendar days or more before the start of the Retreat you will receive a refund of 50% of your deposit
    2. If you cancel under 90 days before the start of the Retreat you will not receive a refund of your deposit.
    3. If you cancel 6 weeks before the start of the Retreat you will not receive a refund of your full payment.
    4. If you are prevented from attending the Retreat by genuine circumstance (i.e. a circumstance beyond your control), you may transfer your booking to another person provided they meet all registration requirements. In such circumstances, a refund of your fees will be provided when full payment of the fees has been made by the person to whom your place has been transferred. In the event that you are unable to attend the Retreat, we are under no obligation to assist in selling your place.
  • Refunds and returned payments are normally settled within 10 working days from the date of cancellation. Otherwise, once a booking has been accepted no payment is refundable unless the course is cancelled. Once the retreat has begun, no refund or part refund or unused portion of the retreat will be repaid in the event of a cancellation by you.
  1. Amendments by Us
  • Occasionally, changes may have to be made (i.e. yoga teacher, class times or other arrangements), which we reserve the right to do at any time. If your accommodation has to be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar rating. If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure.
  • Whilst the Company will use reasonable care and skill in providing services included in the Retreat, no guarantees, stated or implied, are made by the Company regarding any aspect of the Retreat (i.e. the number of participants, the age of participants, the time spent at any given location, the nature of yoga classes or sessions, or other subjective experiences on the Retreat).
  1. Cancellation by Us
  • We reserve the right in any circumstance to cancel the retreat, in which case we will offer a full refund of all monies paid within 10 working days. The Retreat requires a minimum of at least 50% of the participants to have booked by 7 days before the start date. If this minimum number is not reached by that date, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the money to you.
  1. Our Liability to You
  • We accept responsibility for ensuring that the Retreat is supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard.
  • We do not accept liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war terrorist acts, airport closures, civil strife, industrial actions, natural disasters, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control.
  • We are not liable for any injuries you may incur. Yoga classes are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medial or psychiatric conditions, which may develop during or after the retreat. We are not liable for loss of, or damage to, your personal property.
  1. No Liability for Possessions
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that your possessions are kept safe at all times.
  1. Complaints
  • We are confident that you will not find cause for concern during the retreat. However, if you feel that a complaint is warranted, please inform Julie immediately and she will endeavour to resolve matters. Please note that we cannot guarantee the proportion of male/female guests in any group, and we cannot be responsible for the individual behaviour of any group member or other guest sharing your accommodation.
